Apparently, the BBC radio people have edited this quite severely. His live interview just after the game ended was considered by some -including Crawley fans - to have been so offensive that he will end up with yet another rap from the authorities. He was supposed to have been ranting about how the referee was trying to even up the difference in points deducted by showing Constable a yellow instead of a red card.
I've been a footy fan for a long, long time and I don't think I have encountered anyone so dislikeable as Evans. The man doesn't have a single redeeming feature.

I heard his interview live on the radio on the way home from the game (couldn't get Radio Oxford, so we tuned into Southern Counties Radio instead) and to say that he was slathering like a rabid dog would be severe understatement. The man has lost any plot he may have had. On three occasions (just to make sure we got the message), he claimed that the ref ("who had a very good game" last time he was at Crawley for the home game v Torquay) had been pressured by the Conference to amend his match report of that game, and the FA knew all about this but were in on the collusion as some part of massive conspiracy against little Crawley Town FC. The man is a raving buffoon and I would say not in a fit mental state to be manager of a football club. I really hope that the Conference Board and FA get access to the original tapes of that interview, because he crossed the line on a number of occasions and brought the game into disrepute, brought the FA and Conference into disrepute, and dug himself into a massive hole filled with his own shit and bile.

Apparently he was sent from the dug-out to the stands by the ref at Ebbsfleet tonight, and then escorted out of the stand too! Can't find too much about it yet other than this ...
