Is it true that youth team wonder kid chris fower as had interest shown in him from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur apparently scouts have been watching him. If so why is this kid not in the first team.

Maybe because he isn't ready. A colleague's son at work has just 'signed' a 2 year deal at Southampton. He is 8 years old, not ready for the first team yet despite his promise.

One thing you can't accuse Patterson of is a reluctance to blood good youth team players.
