UE: Away support outnumbers home support and I'll copyright that to secure the UE point (If I don't get a UE point for that who will??).

Forest Green 0 Oxford 2 (Basham, Odubade). Attendance 2,600. Away crowd 1,600.

Unexpected event: Forest Green borrow Southport's shirts in the hope it will bring them luck. Doomed to failure of course.

1-1 Beesley, Basham, 2,700, 1,650. The 1,650 is the maximum crowd as half miss the start being unable to park and another significant proportion are taken away for oxygen from the effects of the climb up the hill. Ancient trees from the Forest of Dean walk to the ground to grab a glance.

UE: Away support outnumbers home support and I'll copyright that to secure the UE point (If I don't get a UE point for that who will??).
Which brings as back to the unexpected/unusual event debate. If its unexpected events then it can't count because we are expected to outnumber the home support.

The U's do not learn the lesson of Tuesday and start the game thinking they will coast it, backed by an early goal from Duffy. However, profligate chance-wasting ensues before FG hit a late equaliser followed by an even later winner.

FG 2 OU 1 - Clist, Wanless - Duffy
Att 1650 of which 1600 yellows.
UE FG fans organise a boycott of the game, but noone notices.
UE2 The 'played for both' feature in the programme has to stretch to an extra page to cope with the numbers.

Agreed. Now if you'd claimed that the away support DOESN'T outnumber the home support you'd have got away with it.
