Somebody should tell him about the wages cap as next season we will have the lowest playing budget that we've had for decades.

Not much to ask for is to know the rules all teams have to follow!!!!
Demanding Fans Not Having Fun = Players Being Crushed Under Pressure Dont Forget Non League Football Is Played By Non League Players.
Someone posted the exact rules on here ages ago, but from memory the gist of it is:
League 2 - 60% of turnover on players wages, 75% of turnover on total wages across club.
Conference - £300k || 25% of turnover on players.
For this season our turnover for salary cap purposes was apparently £2.4m, which would have given us £1.5m in League 2, but only allowed us £900k in the Conference. Last season, there was some element of a parachute scheme which allowed us £1.2m.
The idea is to put clubs on a more even playing field, but should still have given us enough to put together a stronger squad than most but, erm, we didnt!
Not sure what the exact terms are for calculating what turnover is used, but it is a fair assumption that it will be lower than £2.4m, hence a smaller budget....
