Another thing bugging me....this business about &quothaving known since November&quot. Does it normally take two months for this sort of thing to arrive at a hearing? If not, why in this instance?

Actually what particularly annoys me is that this has come to light in the middle of a freezing January. I would really like to pack it in for the season after we get deducted these points today. As far as I can see, in about the last five years they claim to have represented in one way or another around half of England and Wales' professional football clubs. Which I would like to think* told us nothing about the general standards of ethics and rule-breaking current in that particular sphere...

Phew, extra time to think up an unexpected event...

Yes, but the point is, if they're so confident in their own abilities, why would they think like that? Surely another opportunity would be bound to present itself, since they're bound to be in demand?

They never really turn down these offers though, do they? Which on one reading is strange for people who apparently have a lot of confidence in their own abilities.
