Re: How Do We Stop The Rot?

The 2 full backs had shocking games, and have been below par all season. When I saw the line-up, I was very surprised to see Bevans axed from the squad. Surely he wasn't made scapegoat for the own goal in the previous match? Also, I don't agree with the cheering when Smalley gets subbed, but if it'...

Re: Don't normally go to away games

Hard to argue against that goal return from Kitson. However, he still lies top of the 'assists' list. Also, the fact that he wasn't scoring earlier in the season wasn't a problem when others were - to the extent that for a while OUFC were amongst the top scorers in the division. I can't help feeling...

Re: Mystery Man(ager)

I won't be surprised if it is a manager who has not been linked with the club by either fans, media or bookies. And that's not a bad thing.

Re: Paul Tisdale

After campaigning to get D.Smith Out and getting punished with Kemp, I've been in the 'stick' rather than 'twist' camp when it comes to managers ever since we moved from The Manor. However, much as I applaud Mad Dog for his loyalty to OUFC, it's got to the point where I would accept almost any manag...

Re: The 12th Man initiative

When we fans were first given a voice, through the medium of fanzines, it was both uniting and fun. Fun to contribute, fun to read. As for Yellow Fever no longer being around; I think you’ll find that Dan is merely taking an extended break to collect thoughts ahead of a new bumper edition  I'l...

Re: Welcome to the Minchery madhouse Mad Dog

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01s8s3b Yet another match where, as I set out on another thread, our opponents managed significantly more total shots and shots on target. This time, being a top 3 side they had a striker able to convert these chances and really exposed our team's frailties that hav...

Re: March On!

or even sliding out of the playoff spots. This prompted me to have another look at the table. Newport have a 13 point gap to make up, but even if they were to win all 4 games in hand, they would still be 1 point behind and their recent form isn't conducive to such a run. The Mad Dog selection's per...

Re: Christophe Remy just posted this on Facebook

It's a good article, just a shame there is a little too much emphasis on the result being down to QPR underperforming on the day, rather than being outfought and outplayed by the Oxford players.

But we could still survive if we win our last match at home - so lets make sure we give an entire stand to away fans.

Re: Exeter

To be in keeping with the recent chaotic events, that'll be either a P-P at 7:15pm or an A-A after 75 mins when winning 0-3.

Re: This Saturday

I haven't seen either of the Charlton matches where Ruffels played in the centre of midfield, but what I'm gleaning from several observations is that he is more effective in a central midfield role than left midfield where I have seen him play in the earlier cup rounds. Wilder seems to favour Mullin...
