There were definitely games last year where we lacked steel in midfield and he would've provided that. McLaren is a very go...

Missed it, what did he say? I think it's all rubbish anyway, the fact that a team has made a bid has nothing to do with whether a player wants to go, and if you'd asked me whether he was happy at the club before these rumours I would've said almost definitely, judging by the passion he shows and his...

Re: The Priory

Does anyone know if the Priory will be doing their marvellous hog roast again tonight? I shall be coming straight from work and will need to eat. The other food outlets in the vicinity of the stadium do not appeal. Any info would be gratefully appreciated. The chippie 'round the corner from The Bla...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14492050.stm Who does it say the pull back deflected off for the first goal? And at the chance from the throw in at the end &quotSimon Heslop fails to make a decisive touch&quot, well that was probably due to the fact he wasn't on the pitch. It would ...

The 2nd question was &quotWill there be any extra time?&quot and no one had a Lose - Yes combo for the first two questions
Ah, sorry got that one wrong, (as well as pretty much all the questions)!

Jon Stead left (at the time League 2) Huddersfiled for Blackburn about 7 years ago for &quotover £1 million&quot, now Constable hasn't scored quite as many as he did but he's not too far off, I don't know what the inflation has been like in lower league transfer fees (as we always pay &...

I was in the Oxford Mail and couldn't see it properly but the way he went down it looked like an elbow. I just couldn't believe we didn't get a penalty in the last minute on saturday when Duberry was wrestled to the ground. I guess players of his stature will always be targets because they are threa...
