Peterborough
Jeez we were so lucky, They seemed to have us contained in every part of the pitch, their no. 15 was an absolute rock in midfield in the first half, a proper midfield general and then he went up front in the second half where he was even more dangerous. Lunny played a lot better than he has been doi...
Re: Dorking
I was on the mzuri board and still hold a grudge about the fact I was top of the hat league when the board disappeared. Have never submitted another hat prediction. It's too late for tomorrow but you could always resurrect it ... I'm glad there is no Hat League, I would have gotten that one horribl...

Re: What a night.
I agree about the red card it looked very harsh. I don't think it would have made much difference though.

You don't have a link for that do you? I'd love to read it.theox wrote:I wasn't at the game, Jerome, but it sounds like another cracking performance from Us. Although the match report on the Slumdon website tells it totally differently!

What a night.
There have been very few games where we have been so dominant, even before they lost their heads and got a man sent off we were outplaying them and after that it was pure nectar. I love it when we beat them even when we beat them ugly like the J-Lo game but beating them with pretty football was some...

Compare our Austrian experience with that of Leeds United.

Re: Austria
I feel it has done more for club / fan bonding than anything else i've seen in the past 47 years. I say club rather than team because on field results can do a lot for team and fan relationships but that doesn't involve the management or backroom staff whereas this trip involved every level of the c...
Re: Austria
I have been to many football away days both with Oxford and England but this trip was something else when the players came into Clumsy's night club the place went berserk, then they moved on to the Elit Bar in the main centre where the fans had taken over for the duration. Earlier in the day there h...

Re: New season tickets
I went up today and renewed my ticket, I asked about the letters and was told they only sent out emails, which is clearly not the case judging from earlier replies and that was also of no help to me as they only have my old email address and despite contacting the club with my new address I was told...

New season tickets
Are we expecting letters regarding the purchase of new season tickets? Only I haven't had one yet and it feels like its getting a bit late.

Record attendance
It looks like our Conference Play-off Final record attendance of 42669 could be under threat this year. The last time Brizzle went to Wembley they took 40,000 on their own.

Re: Happy Milk Cup Day....!
Aaargh! (He said articulately). The oddest thing about the day was how abjectly QPR surrendered. The result did not feel in doubt. Really? I wasn't comfortable until the third went in. I fact I felt most uncomfortable when they bought on Leroy Rosenior for Martin Allen as I thought he had the abili...

While I'm glad the report did not include our name I wonder why those three were chosen.

Re: Planning issues at Minchery Farm
Building in the corners costs a shed load more and would require not only complicated, costly and time consuming PP, but would also require the council to overturn the sporting covenant that says the land may only be used for sports activities. The covenant does not (from memory) allow mixed use. D...
