Good luck with finding a match on Betfair for your £2m offer on Man Utd to beat QPR

Re: Smiley's Premiership betting tips

Most of those where you've matched on Betfair are only a couple of percent lower on a high street bookie like Ladbrokes so anyone interested shouldn't worry too much about having to open a Betfair account. I'm confused about why you can't get a match on some of the bets. Surely if you've calculated ...

Re: Prison sentence for a smoke bomb?

Everyone's different, but I know I can't comfortably sit near a bonfire and certainly wouldn't consider a smoke bomb a bit of fun.

Re: Port Vale Away

Yeah, the swines! My closest Saturday game is now Burton (on holiday) so looks like Cheltenham will be closest! Just my luck to have Shrewsbury, Crewe, Macclesfield and Hereford all leave the division at the end of last season

Re: Prison sentence for a smoke bomb?

As an asthmatic, I think a smoke bomb in a seating area could be quite dangerous to an individual's health. There may not be any damage to the fixtures and fittings of a stand, but I certainly wouldn't want to be anywhere near one. I can choose not to go paintballing, I can't choose who I sit next ...

Re: Football Manager Position

I did the stats for Leek Town when we were in the Conference. Players are largely limited to a set range for the division they are in, although younger players can be worse but with high potential and older players relatively better in some stats (positioning, etc) than others (speed, etc). There ar...

Re: Different Teams in Different Sports

I used to be able to watch almost any sport on TV but that dropped off very quickly once I got married for the first time! Football is all about Oxford United and Leek Town. I'll follow England and I'm pleased when they win, but it's all a bit meh these days. When I lived in Bracknell I followed the...

My other team, Leek Town, came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and eventually win on penalties in their play-off semi-final on Wednesday, and now play Ilkeston away in the final tomorrow (matches are all one-off, played at the ground of the team finishing higher in the league). As for ground grading, I be...

Is this the latest version of phpBB? The latest is 3.0.10 released in January.

My old forum kept getting hacked if I didn't update fairly soon after each release.
