Whatever happened to Statto? Win percentages are interesting but don't tell the whole story. All sorts of variables need to be considered? eg where was the club financially at the time? Or, more pertinently, what did the average supporter think about the club pre and post the particular manager's st...

Re:
I think it's been fairly obvious I am not a huge Wilder fan and have been critical of the within-season loan-driven team disruptions, but I'd be really unhappy if we had a shift of manager now. As various people have remarked, he has an "improvement plan" ... and there is some sort ...

Wouldn't be surprised if poor old Firoz is struggling for cash flow. (like most in this sceptred isle) and is rattling a few sabres. Bet he wouldn't mind flogging the stadium soon. But its all about price. BTW before anyone starts reading anything into this, remember I'm nowt to do with OxVox commit...

[quote="Snake"]Agree, but how does a company that specialises in debt management allegedly become half a million quid in debt, and to whom? Specifically, does that include Oxford United? I’d ask via his website, but it’s currently “under construction

Re:
I think fans who are satisfied with Us simply staying up this season are way off the mark. It was sad to hear some of the contributions echo that "achievement" on RadOx post-match yesterday. I think fans who are happy that the club is moving forward are bang on the money. We're head...

Re:
How can scrambling out of the 5th level of football by the back door equate to qualifying for Europe as one of the best clubs in England at that time. 1986 far superior. Never in a million years. Not in the context of the future direction of the club revolving around one match. If we had lost 3-1 a...

Re:
This thread seems to have reached the level of medieval theological arguments about the numbers of angels dancing on the heads of pins. I've always found these internecine Oxvox arguments really weird, warring factions from past disputes lost in the mists of time finding new causes to reignite conf...

Re:
I would agree about Hall, and certainly about MacLean. He does not seem to be the player we signed in January, and I just hope that negotiations, which we assume are progressing, reflect his current performances rather than his earlier ones. On current showing, he is not really worth pursuing. Reck...

Re:
Wright is the only player at the back that I definitely want us to keep as of today. How things change  I actually think our clean sheet record keeping pair of Foster and the Beast would have faired better this season than Worley and Wright. Don't get me wrong I think both are good players in...
