Re:
The more I watch of this World Cup, the more I realise that it's quite impossible for refs to do a good job when all the players are such pathetic cheats. Retrospective punishments - proper ones, not paltry fines - are the only way to stop it happening. Henry should be sent home from the World Cup ...
Re: Aldershot
I thought we had a small squad! They have five, maybe six players, contracted for next season at the moment. They expect to sign three today though. What happened to all their players from last season? Have they not offered new deals, or is it the usual mis-management of allowing too many players c...

i thought it was an odd use of your time if you want to publicise your stuff. are they really called 'spybots'? i can never tell when people are having me on about computer and t'interweb stuff, and that just seems too good to be true. I suppose technically I should ahve called them spambots as spy...

Re:
From the look of the Board tonight, registration might be a good idea (but how do you stop the spammers registering?). A lot of the spam postings will be done using spybots. It is unlikely to be someone tapping away on a keyboard in Wyoming. Provided it is a manually operated registration process, ...

World Cup, Smorld Cup. Who needs the damn thing anyway? Crap penalty call and an atrocious ref but my beloved Yanks simply do not deserve to get to round 2. I think Arena needs to go but who to replace him? Klinsmann is a possibility and has been rumored if a change were made, but I am not sold on ...

Re:
There doesn't even have to be contact for a foul anymore, the law is worded on "intent", ie if someone flies studs-first towards your knees, and you jump out of the way and fall over, that's still a foul, and rightly so. Quite right, but similarly if someone attempts a legitimate ta...

Snake tells me that Jim Smith has just returned from his month long holiday. So the rumours will start soon. And there has been action going on. Milton's ground now has a wooden five foot fence along the road to stop the snoopers watching training. Or is the fence so they don't have to keep fetchin...

The ol' ship ain't as leaky as it used to be. That must be about as close as you have ever got to paying Kassam a compliment!!! (Insert here any combination of punctuation devices that indicate humour as I'm always scared to use the wrong ones) Don't worry, the fixtures are out in a few days and it...

Re:
when i read about this ridiculous ruling on 'lunging' (you mean TACKLING ffs), i really feared they were going to ruin the tournament. it's not been as bad as i thought it might be, but having just had the week off to enjoy the group stage, it's had me shouting at the television a number of times. ...

Re:
I read about the possible takeover as well, but isn't the problem that anyone considering taking over, who is anything other than a devoted Crawley Town fan, has nothing to develop and therefore nothing to gain, and is therefore unlikely to be prepared to keep the club afloat? Where do you live the...
