Re:

It's not a competition that excites me, I have to say, but at least there's the potential of a midweek game at Torquay or Exeter for me. Shame Plymouth have a bye - I still haven't been to Home Park, though it's my nearest league ground. No it doesn't excite me either. I'm living in Southampton cur...

Re:

Great thank you. I like the blog, and think it deserves its own button on the Rageonline homepage. I am wondering if the blog has any thoughts on the Premiership's new homegrown players rule? Interesting piece in the Guardian on this today. Clubs will be forced to include eight homegrown (have been...

Player to watch...

Anyone else get the latest Sky Sports mag through the door in the past week? Just had a flick through and noticed in the Ask The Experts section amongst the likes of Nani and Danny Sturridge as ones to watch is one one Beano, as tipped by Peter Beagrie. According to Beagrie &quotJames Constable ...

I love how the official site literally notes him as &quottriallist&quot - very secretive! I'm assuming it wasn't Zinedine Zidane returning from retirement judging by the game report!

As a Southampton Yellow I was considering making the short trip over to Winch to watch this but having read the proposed XI team I feel I might give this a miss.

Ta for the updates though Boris - will make sure to give this a glance this evening to see how the nippers are getting along!

I always consider Matt Green a striker, as opposed to an attacking midfielder, in spite of his usual starting position. I realise it could easily be argued conversely but I have to say I consider him one of three strikers at the club. Whether another is still needed however, is a different matter co...

Re:

Blimey Joel who got out of the wrong side of bed this morning? I just get annoyed when people have a go at the club for trying to make money, like any business would. If the club try and make money, they get criticised for &quotfleecing&quot fans, when they're just doing what every other bu...

Are the seats removable? Could the relevant seats not be taken out, sprayed yellow and put back in to make it cheaper? Feel free to laugh at my engineering stupidity if I am way off the mark!!
