Re: January Transfer Window

I've no idea how accurate this is, but when quizzed by a fan directly after the Brentford FA Cup game, Robinson apparently said only a couple of players were "his" signings. He strikes me as a bit like Wilder who loved his loan signings of experienced players or decent players with a bit ...

Re: You're winding me up!

Its not just case of the club having working capital, if it were that simple, a well run club would say it needs for instance a million in cash at the start of January each year, and then would have sufficient cash to pay bills as they arise, even allowing for factors such as Football League solida...

Re: You're winding me up!

Of course a business plan isn’t as simple as a post on a football forum; goodness knows what’s in Tigers plans long term and how he plans to add value to this investment. But a new stadium near, say, the new Oxford Parkway railway station would be a winner for additional development in and around t...

Re: Spotafan Trophy / #BTeamBoycott

How much is £10 x 101 supporters, divided by 14 players? Its a gesture only and I doubt it would have been offered had we been trounced in the same way at home in front of 10,000 supporters.

Re: You're winding me up!

It's all about cashflow and a club that loses money every year unless there are significant cup runs or player sales. OK saying you pay someone £30,000, and perhaps it's £20,000 net and £10,000 to the taxman a month later. But if there is only £20,000 cash to start with, the player gets paid, and t...

Re: You're winding me up!

I don’t think it’s in FK’s interests to sell to anyone. The land the stadium is on is ripe for housing; nothing would give him more pleasure than to see us move home and break the covenant on the ground, so he can petition to build housing there. We end up with a new ground towit Tiger owns. He sel...

Re: You're winding me up!

Nice to see that Tiger cleared up all the uncertainty in his interview with RadOx. So he agreed a payment schedule with HMRC that we adhered to, why then did they issue a notice or was the payment schedule not in line with HMRC's requirements? When asked if he would bring in a fighting fund to miti...

Re: Robinson Out

I felt Portsmouth were very persistent in the fouls actually. Maybe not the big out of control diving in challenges, but in the shoves in the back, shirt pulling and manhandling in the box. Then Dickie is hardly a saint in that regard either. The elbow/arm to the face by their #10 was surely a strai...

Re: January Transfer Window

And now Cameron Norman is sold to Walsall . So we've now lost both dedicated right-backs during this window without (so far) replacing them. We've also lost a player who most people felt was young, promising and developing well but who'd clearly fallen out with KR. Thing are definitely, clearly, em...

If he plays in the same position as Mousinho (ref: KR on official site) I'm not convinced this is what we need, especially if, as is being reported elsewhere, he hasn't played since August.

Re: You're winding me up!

This really is a disgraceful state of affairs. To make the mistake once was bad enough. The second time was shameful. To get in the same position again for a 3rd time in a year, and 2nd month in a row, after the assurances that were given, is totally unacceptable. Is it any wonder that we have under...

The video has made the national newspapers online sites. Total humiliation for our club yet again.

What has gone wrong at our club, it is one thing after another?

Re: Robinson Out

We are in that quandry position whereby we need to sign players, but have to give serious consideration to sacking the manager. If he is to be sacked, surely we wouldn't want to let him spend (and potentially waste) the money, and arguably getting a new man in would take us beyond the end of the tra...

Re: Robinson Out

I’m trying to work out why the side has reverted to the shite football from earlier in the season, when we are playing more or less the same team that were successful on the 16 game run. I don’t accept the fatigue nonsense. These are pro players, supposedly of supreme fitness, with excellent support...
