Can't disagree with any of that other than the way it ends but that might be the discussion database doing the trimming. One question that is left hanging is what was Kassam doing when he appointed Bill &amp Bren. Did he think the deal with Merry was dead and therefore he needed to act to try an...

How many more personal insults? First I'm making myself look &quotmore stupid&quot and now I'm paranoid. Could it simply be explained that you posted a ridiculous wild accusation of Merry being economical with the truth and screwing up the rent deal that you couldn't support Mark? And rathe...

Queue one of your mates or pseudonyms saying pot kettle or words to that effect. Paranoia has really set in now. I don't have any pseudonyms other than the one I post on here under - what a ridiculous suggestion and I haven't got a clue who Kernow Yellow or ty cobb are so you could hardly call them...

Keep digging Terry - you only make yourself look more stupid. The economical with the truth comment was nothing to do with the stadium rent. I believe (as do you) what OxVox said so we are left with Mery making two contradictory statements as would be interpreted by 99% of rational observers. Regard...

I won't be too disappointed to see Sills go as he failed to do anything to impress whilst he was with us. Having said that what's the betting he goes to Exeter and not only scores against us but also gets 25 goals for the season leading Exeter to automatic promotion.

1. It is reasonable to asume the phrase &quotThere was provision for the rent to rise or fall depending on the league in which the club played&quot includes relegation from the current league. Otherwise why say it. 2. &quotAlso, that is a statement form OxVox, not a statement from Merry&...

Sorry I thought the minutes had been posted by OxVox on their site. They emaled them to members. The relevent section stated: &quotThe Club is no nearer to buying the stadium and conference centre but discussions were ongoing. Relegation to the Conference did not mean a fall in the asking price ...

It was in response to Snake's comment about telling the fans where there money goes over and above their ticket. None of the money spent on anything else goes to Kassam (other than perhaps the non concourse bar money) He has already been paid everything he is going to be paid OUT OF THE TICKET MONEY...

The press continue to refer to Microdentex as the major source of Merry's wealth. This does not appear to be backed up by easily available facts. He has had plenty of time to correct this apparent error. Merry knows who the other investor is/are. he hasn't told anybody who this is even when asked di...

Yes of course I was led to believe that we would avoid relegation. The biggest argument for getting Kassam out was that we would be relegated if he stayed. Nick Merry said in his first programme notes &quotWe will be judged by success on the field but we will bring the best possible players into...

I don't know what Snake meant but I was led to believe that we would avoid relegation and that they would buy the stadium along with the club. That will do for starters. On balance I think (and certainly hope) Merry and his mystery partner(s) are going to be better for the club and its fans than Kas...

Re:

It is more than a bit worrying with a chairman who has no experience of running a football club is secretive about the club's ownership and prepared to be economical with the truth about his past and appears to have screwed up the stadium rental deal with Kassam in a big way. What chance of him sti...

For just about all of those things whether 10 fans or 10,000 fans turn up the amount of money payed to Kassam stays the same. Thats what I meant when I said he doesn't get anything DIRECTLY from the fans. Lindleys pay an agreed fee upfrot for the catering rights, the club pays up front for the stadi...

Anyway, what would be useful is for the club (and I don’t see any reason for Chris Williams not to web this up) is to point out to fans who attend games where their money goes outside of the matchday ticket, as I’m not even sure. The way I see it Kassam doesn't get anything directly from the fans. ...
