Oh it's such a perfect day, I'm glad I spent it with you. Oh such a perfect day, You just keep me hanging on, You just keep me hanging on. Started on the train packed full of Oxford fans - standing room only full of nervous excitement. Then arriving at Wembley and everywhere you look it's all Yello...

Re: Snake and Mr Lee

Already asked if Firoka is going and the answer was no. But hey, did it remind him of a possible way of making money I wonder? - http://www.oufc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10342~2051377,00.html The man has no shame. I can't believe the club have actually plugged that story. He can stick his £85. I know wha...

Re:

Why not train Woking-Waterloo, then Bakerloo line to Wembley Central (45 minutes on tube?) or better still Bakerloo line, change at Baker Street and then Metropolitan Line to Wembley Central (approx 25 minutes?) The Jubilee line is very slow getting to Wembley Park anyway. Or alternatively for the ...

Re:

From my own experiences of club wembley, although you are asked not to wear colours it is generally accepted and people do. Less acceptable is to tell someone where to stick it when they tell you to sit down but for this event I think it's warrented. I think the dress code comment relates to the Ro...

Re:

I know there's a lot of fans that come crawling out of the woodwork when such a game comes around (twice in a lifetime?) but it does demonstrate the potential we have if we can rise up the leagues. I know what you mean. I asked my wife and step-son if they would like to go and where they wanted to ...

Re:

Don't worry me about regular breathing. I was born in the close season just before we entered the football league first time around. Do you think I should go for a check up to make sure I should attend just in case some circle of life thing should occur? Talking of circle of life type things I hope...

Re:

It's a waste of time stopping after Princes Risborough I would have thought. Why? It may suprise you that there are a lot of fans in South Oxfordshire who use Thame and Wycombe to get to London. I would imagine the point is that the trains will be full, not that there won't be demand. After waiting...

21,000 sold according to the official site. Thats not bad going in less than 3 days. I know there's a lot of fans that come crawling out of the woodwork when such a game comes around (twice in a lifetime?) but it does demonstrate the potential we have if we can rise up the leagues.

Re:

They also stabbed a copper at Cambridge, tore the head off the Wimbledon mascot (okay, so that's funny), and had a mash-up at Kettering. I think a policeman cut his hand at Cambridge. Also remember Chappers taking out Harry the Hatter (Luton mascot) with a tackle from behind pre kick-off at Kenilwo...

Re:

I am not saying he will be biased, but it is stupid to leave it open to suggestion isn't it? Even if he is the 'best' referee that Lee can come up with........I am pretty sure sure that FIFA would not award the World Cup Final to a referee from England if the English football team (ever) get there....

Re:

Also thinking about it, Beaconsfield is a pretty quiet station on a Sunday and should have stops at Wembley. Parking is still £5.50 but it's only 45 mins from Oxford and then a further 35mins to Wembley from there. It's on the Chiltern line. Off-peak to Wembley from there should be in the region of...
