KT: Sorry Ian, but this was an FA Cup match with your football team. Accordingly, the team had a long trip from Oxford and not a short journey from Wigan. They are therefore due a travel and overnight stay allowance.

I wish Wilder would make his mind up and decide whether we can or can't celebrate being top of the league, 5 points clear with a game in hand. One week we must take one game at a time the league is not won at Christmas Don't say the P word. Next we should be ecstatic for the team's best league perfo...

I was collecting my H&ampY Fa Trophy ticket when CW gave that interview, so will have to catch up later. But I did hear most of the follow up calls, one very bitter fan. I did boo an attack from OM stand, but only because at the time we were 3-1 up and I had that in the correct score prediction....

Has anyone voted 68/69? Probably one of those polls where the votes don't mean anything, and a panel still picks their favourite. I had a look at their supporters survey as well, but got stuck at Q1  http&#58//www&#46football-league&#46co&#46uk/page/SupporterSurvey/0,,10794~1883...

GY - if you are lucky Myles might find the link to the Chester 2010 P&ampL forecast (It was on a Chester website), but I think it had income of £500K including parachute payments, and expenses of £1M

Re:

As I suspected, the League didn't trust Chester to pay their creditors. The creditors exceeded the amount due from the League for parachute payments, so the League have made Chester pay the deficit to the League so the League can pay the creditors. Again Chester survive by the skin of their teeth. ...

Didn't we take someone back from loan who broke their leg in a car crash at Cambridge just the other year? Perhaps there is a football etiquette on such matters.

Alty applying for the football league

Blue Square Premier club Altrincham`s progress on the field this season has led to it making a last-minute application to join the Football League - should they qualify at the end of the season. Whilst the club recognises that it is highly unlikely that it will finish in pole position, the Robins a...
