Mitchell Cole

Not sure if this has been raised elsewhere so apologies in advance. I noticed Mitchell Cole scoring for Hitchin against Bedford and was a little confused. Didn't OUFC come to an agreement on the remainder of his contract last February as he was unable to play the game due to a heart condition. Clear...

There are some who might say that Maxwell's problems started with the stock market crash of 1987 (by which time he was chairman of Derby). The theft of £440 million to prop up the failed expansion of the publishing wing was abhorrent, but as 1 of over 400 of his companies I have always felt we have...

This trio also managed to give a foul against the defender whilst shepherding the ball out of ball for a goal kick. Very, very rare.

Well done for that I say.

Maybe because he was the first Oxford keeper I had seen (and looking back, exceptional) I had to go for Burton. But the best &quotone off&quot performance would be between Kee at Tranmere or Reece at Derby. Burton did it all with no gloves though, does that give him an extra edge? I'd like t...

Shouldn't injury time be for the game time lost to the &quotcold sponge&quot situations which could be used to eat into the 45? Surely yesterdays incident was (or should have been) an unfortunate stop to the match to ensure their keeper was moved safely and correctly in the circumstances. Ha...

Ah, it all comes flooding back... I spent a couple of years in Woking, firstly in a flat off Claremont Avenue (by the Northfleet Hotel) and then living and working in the Wheatsheaf Hotel on Chobham Road. Saturday shifts behind the bar were made easier by phoning clubline for live commentary and the...

I don't think there would be VAT on Airline charter as long as you have the whole aircraft and not a number of seats (My copy of Tolleys is 2002 though!)

Still - I'm not sure the HMRC would agree with your treatment of the VAT if it were charged!!

Was Paul Reece a loanee originally? I remember he had a cracking game against Derby early in his United spell.

I think the key to his incarceration is that he is already on bail for the other two offences. As they are similar (violence related) the magistrates deemed bail unwise.
