Re: Playoffs
Why on earth is Burgess going to Belgian second division? He looked a real presence. I think a lot hinges on Taylor now, we are so dangerous once we get hold of the ball and start passing but we need someone to stick it away!
Re: Furlough
I think Karl is still working? I guess there’s nothing to stop the players keeping fit at home
Re: Furlough
I think it means they aren’t expecting training to start for a while , not before theoretical preseason in July I guess

Re: Bapxit Day
Ridiculous. Shooting ourselves in the foot. But at least we should have £3.50 million to spend on the NHS (new hearty striker)?

Re: Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside
Does Henry disappear? I’m not knowledgeable enough about football to say, but he’s a lovely passer and gets a lot of things going. Maybe he’s more involved in overall play this season. My theory is that his languid style makes everything look easy, so he doesn’t catch the eye as readily as some.

Re: Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside
I was at the dentist on Saturday afternoon and consoled myself during the surgery by thinking, oh I expect we’ll win 4-0. It’s really strange that we’ve suddenly become a team that seems able to win well and with ease every week, and people have got used to it so quickly

Alfie Potter and Sam Deering in the Billericay side that lose to Forest Green in the Cup. Former triallist Elliot Frears on the winning side.

Re: Play up Pompey
The home end is thinly populated and quiet. Maybe the noisy young men that essential for atmosphere have been discouraged.

Re: Scoring in the Rain
I think the second half showed that at our level players need to be functioning at the top level of focus and motivation to succeed. It was so easy that they maybe got a bit sloppy, which could have cost us at 2-0. The number of times shots went just the wrong side of that post! Still, 3-0 job done.

Re: Doncaster Rovers
We could have made that an embarrassing score for Doncaster, who did look like good passers. We were so much on top in the second half that we got a bit casual - Fosu’s terrible free kick - and could have let them back in but if Taylor had been playing I’m sure he would have scored a couple, as so m...

Re: Hammer Time
West Ham was too easy! They didn’t seem to have a forward or left back, which made Sykes look like Ronaldo

I think Swansea, as we were Div 4 and they had a strong side that was taking it seriously

Re: Hammer Time
Highlights here . Some fine goals in there, especially Baptiste's. Sykes' cross for Taylor's is also the sort of the thing that gives centre forwards wet dreams. PS: whilst looking at the BTL comments about the game on the Guardian website, I saw this by one of our own from RageOnline. Made me chuc...
