Must be true 'cause you couldn't possibly make that lot up.
Seriously, are there people out there who fall for this shite? Who at City was reeled in by this chancer?

Re: Ryan Clarke
Delighted, especially given Clarkey's comments on Tuesday. Credit to IL.

Re: Who ya gonna call...?
Point being: We don't need a turn around. We need to do the same thing, a bit better and a bit more, which would see us through. Continuity might be the best bet for this season.

Re: Who ya gonna call...?
Given the size of the squad, and the transfer window closing this week, there really isn't that much left to manage for this season. The team virtually picks itself. The players need to decide, as a group, if they really want it, regardless of who the manager is. For this season alone, the risk of b...

Re: Who ya gonna call...?
Dave Penney ticks a lot of boxes, especially of IL wants Mad Dog to stay on.

Re: Wilder Gone
Wilder back in his comfort zone, battling for survival in adversity ..... Preferably back in that "poxy league". Expectations beyond that are clearly beyond him.

The pitch...
Looked dire yesterday and that's before the rugger buggers dig it up today. Not great considering IL chucked £50k at the problem a few months back.

Re: Wilder Gone
If CW truly believed in his ability, and that of the team he's put together, he'd want to see the job through. With another promotion on his CV, he'd be likely to land a pretty decent deal, with us, or elsewhere. Instead, as soon as a firm offer was presented, he's lost his nerve. Bottled it! Ration...

No problem with usual prices being maintained, not happy that the North Stand (my season ticket seat) is shut to "reduce costs"

The return of the mighty Asa obviously scared him off. Feels like the right signing, at the right time.

In fairness, Snake, your judgement of suitable owners / chairman isn't the most credible.

Re: Happy New Year...
Reality shock for a team that looked woeful, inept and broken. IL's January plan may need to be radically reviewed.

Re: I'm not going to be popular, but....
As good as Kitson can be, he was a petulant arse yesterday. Whilst his vision / passing is great at times, his free, do as you please, role is not always helpful and leaves us far too light up front. Is he playing a role for the team or himself? Wilder needs to manage him. You just knew it was going...
Re: Lesscambe
I'd hate to refer to Ruffles performace as rubbish given that he's a young lad, on his debut and is still finding his way. However, had he not been on the pitch in the first half, it wouldn't have made any difference. I really felt for him. He's clearly not ready.
