Re: Oxbridge "derby"
That was a good win, at home, against a capable and physical, if uninspiring, Cambridge side. We lost 5-1 at their place in front of the TV cameras, and this was a far superior performance. Maybe, just maybe, we haven't given Tippy enough credit for the turnaround. It sticks in the craw a little, b...
Re: Meh
If yes, then when and importantly how? We may sneak into the play offs in the season after next when he has worked out he needs to change his style sometimes and has had a chance to bring in some players which can play this famed passing style. If he doesn't learn from his mistakes and brings poor ...

Re: Wow
Only just caught up with the thread. Good interesting debate - pity I didn't read it before the latest Fan's Forum. Possibly if I had I'd have rambled on for even longer though.

Re: The secret footballer update
How many games have you seem Kitson play Ty? The games where he has been good or very good have far outweighed those where he has not. He is a very influential player. It's about more then scoring goals and the role Kitson was asked to play particularly under Chris Wilder was far from that of an out...

Re: MAJOR CHANGES NEEDED AT OUFC
If you are expecting anyone to take you seriously perhaps you need to have a little look at some of the players you think are over rated and not worth keeping. I'll give you a clue - a centre half perhaps?

But they will come back at some stage.
I just hope we've managed to progress by then to avoid them.

Re: Faint glimmer of hope
Isn't it when we start talking about a "faint glimmer of hope", or words to that effect that things tend to go tits up again. So stop it please. Very much one game at a time for me.

Re: Congratulations Bradford!
Can't deny it was shit again today. Yes AGAIN. But for me a football club is for life. If I ever gave OUFC up I would never follow another club. I might go to the odd game as a neutral but that would be it.
Re: Keepers
I was neither at Fleetwood, nor do I subscribe to YP, but listening to Radio Oxford after, one or two of the callers seemed to blame Brown and demand a keeper be brought in on loan. Independently of what might happen if Crocombe is called up by New Zealand U20s, I read nothing in any match report (...

Man of the Match Poll
No votes yet. But it would be quite difficult to vote for Jake Wright at present.

Re: Apathy or Depression
Depression most certainly. And I feel extremely apathetic. Yet I still go to every game - even the fecking JPT. (Have even booked time off work for Plymouth but the men in their white coats might have got hold of me before then if common sense has not kicked in) And to make comments on a few other c...

Re: Knives through butter
Agree with pretty much all of what has been said on here. Like this very much from GY - "Whing has made such a difference on his return and was calm and solid and strong and his qualities were like penicillin running through the side's veins obliterating any thoughts of illness." But...

Difficult to admit but very sensible comments from Evans here.
