Ryan Graham Ledson, midfielder born in Liverpool, joined Oxford on 25 August 2016 from Everton on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Had won seven caps for England under-16s, 16 caps (and scored two goals) for England under-17s who he captained to UEFA European Championship success in 2014 and was named in the team of the tournament, five caps (one goal) for England under-18s, and three caps (one goal) for England under-19s. Was called up to the England under-20 squad on the day he signed for the U's and subsequently capped four times. Ledson was named EFL Young Player of the Month for February 2017 and nominated EFL Young Player of the Season for 2016/17. He was also the Supporters' Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year for 2017/18, while his winning goal at Charlton was voted Goal of the Season for 2017/18. Joined Preston North End for an undisclosed fee on 17 May 2018.
