Hugh Patrick Curran, born Glasgow. Forward. 5 Scotland caps. Had two spells at Oxford, although the first was undeniably his most successful. Oxford's leading scorer in both the 1972-73 and 1973-74 seasons. Curran left Oxford for Bolton Wanderers in September 1974 for £40,000, but returned to the Manor three years later. In 1979 Curran retired through injury, and returned to Scotland to run his own hairdressing business. He returned to Oxfordshire, where he managed pubs in Horton-cum-Studley and Islip.
