United announce revenue agreement

Oxford United are delighted to announce that a brand-new revenue share deal has been agreed with Firoka Ltd for beverage sales within the Kassam Stadium. The club will benefit financially from the work undertaken to improve the grounds hospitality areas, with a lot of effort pledged to enhance fans experience on matchdays, including the boxes, lounges and the introduction of the 12th Man Bar.

The Yellows have already been working closely with Firoka, with a number of improvements already taken place at Grenoble Road, including a new purpose-built bar in the Manor Lounger, a second bar and food store in the 12th Man Bar, the Roll of Honour and Hall of Fame boards in the players tunnel area, alongside a collection of signed and club-related images around the stadium.

United have been in negotiations with the limited company, which is owned by Firoz Kassam, for a lengthy spell; but have finally struck a deal to receive a proportion of beverage sales within the Kassam Stadiums hospitality areas.

Although the exact dividend has not been announced, Us Chairman Ian Lengan was pleased with the agreement: “This has been a main area of focus for Paul Wright and Tony Davison, our new Finance and Commercial Directors, since they joined the club earlier in the summer.

The agreement marks an important development for the working relationship between the club and stadium management company. Both organisations can now continue to work together to improve the matchday experience for our fans.”
