Two former United players were on the move today. Howard Forinton left Birmingham City to join Peterborough for £250,000, and Danny Cullip (currently at Brentford) has joined Brighton on loan. In addition Andy Townshend has joined West Brom from Middlesbrough for a nominal fee (believed to be around £50,000) thus scotching the rumours that he was about to replace Shotton at the Manor.
United have taken former Metz and France under-21 right back Stephane Léoni on a month's loan from Bristol Rovers, with a view to a permanent move.
