Nu Shooz...

...had a hit single in 1986 called 'I Can't Wait'. and YES!, the waiting is over! Division 3 football returns to Oxford this weekend!

A reminder of the rules: all predictions to be posted by 1:30pm on Saturday, and the Tie Breaker will go to the earliest post if a tie still exists. The referee's decision is final, and must not be questioned, otherwise a yellow card will be issued!

1. Will Oxford win, lose or draw?
2. Who will start in goal (Eastwood, Buchel or AN Other)?
3. Who will score our 1st goal (name*, OG or None)?
4. How many players in our starting XI that began the Wycombe game in May (Buchel, Kenny, Wright, Dunkley, Ruffels, Macdonald, Sercombe, Lundstram, Maguire, Roofe, Hylton)?
5. Total number of goals from both sides?
6. How many Red cards, for either side?!

Tie Breaker: Total attendance?

*If predicting Roberts, make it clear which one!

This is my 1st ever Boot, so be gentle with me!
PS Am I allowed to enter?

Let the festivities begin...

Over to Hog, this season's Bootmeister... I was asked to do this by Hoglette back in May, but don't know if that was correct procedure? Feel free to enter everyone, until told otherwise!

I've checked the archives and you're quite right, I stand corrected! Apologies - as you were everyone, Mr T has set the boot, good luck!

Thanks! Historically, boot setter had every right to enter their own boot. Just for clarity, are we assuming one point per correct answer, highest wins? That is, not a cascade or similar?

The results are in...

2pts for Boogie, Ancient Colin & Hog,
3 for Mr T & joepoolman,
and 4 for jfp & Radley Rambler,

but, with an impressive 6 out of 6, both Geoff (7,999) and Hoglette (8,668), which means that Hoglette wins as his tie breaker prediction was a football team short of the actual attendance!

Over to you...
