COD gone as well.
The squad is looking a bit thin now. Time for some more signings and significant one's at that.

The U's have secured the signature of former West Ham Utd
and Bolton Wanderers left winger Robert Hall on a
two year contract.
Hall, 22, had a successful loan spell at Grenoble Road
in 2011 but is currently in rehab after an operation
in April to repair a damaged anterior cruciate ligament
whilst on loan at MK Dons.
The decision to sign for Oxford has not gone down
too well in North Bucks.

Interesting to sign a player on a 2-year deal knowing he's not going to be able to play for at least 20% of that time. I read in the Oxford Mail that we see him as a replacement for COD, but I can't say that's how I remember him. In fact I don't remember being very impressed at all by his second loan spell with Us. But let's assume Appleton knows what he's doing.
Whatever, this is certainly not the signing to replace the large number of goals we've lost out of the team recently. Presumably a (not injured) forward or two are still to come...

The U's sign striker Kane Hemmings, 24 on a three year deal from Dundee FC
for an undisclosed fee. The fee has been reported as close to a club record
for Oxford.

Very excited - check out
this video of goals from last season. Looks like he has all the tools, scores with his head, poaching in the box, beating the last man and then shooting round the keeper, and even takes penalties.
Dundee fans are
absolutely gutted to have lost him

Seen him play many times for Dundee. The man is a top baller. Fantastic signing.

United sign WBA youngster Tyler Roberts, 17
on loan until January 2017. The highly rated
Roberts is a forward.

Dan Crowley....pleased MA spoke to him about a very poor attitude problem at Barnet.I hope things settle down.
If someone pushed me out of the way then stood toe to toe in front of me (when I was officiating)..straight Red friendly or not,I am afraid.
What we don't need is a young whippersnapper, wet behind the ears that is a liability.I hope he grows up quickly.
