Now don't be silly, I don't have any such news, but if you feel like caring and sharing any transfer news or rumours, please feel free!

Well, this is not news as such but Twitter was going 'mental' last night with reports of O'Dowda having signed for Derby and Sercombe for Bury. There were probably other members of our team who've also sneaked out but I lost the will to live reading those tweets after a while.

Just out of interest, who do you think that we might actually lose during this window?

I'm worried that we will lose a couple but part of me thinks that no one will leave. I do not think that any of our players are 'plug-in-and-play' quality (which is surely the point of a January transfer) for a Champ or Prem team and I cannot see why any of our main first team players would go to a League 1 team now when they have a fair chance of doing that with Us and winning a medal in the process.

With apologies to those who can't stand the Mail, but they're second to none if you want to know about transfers:

Interestingly: "The League Two club are in danger of pricing themselves out of a deal, however, with their £1m-plus valuation."

Yeah, I think that's probably the plan. Why get £1m now and weaken your team when you can get £2.5m for the same player in the summer and adequate time to replace him?

I'd like to see us sign Maguire for longer. A great first half at Notts County followed by a superb performance against the Swans. The ball seems to stick at his feet much more than with most players at this level. A class performer who seems to get better the more he plays for us.

Couldn't agree more. The first time I saw him, I thought he was rubbish. Since then, his performances have just got better and better.

Not a bad record so far - a goal every 27 minutes!

If this story is true (well, it is the Daily Fail), does it hint at the departure of Baldock?
