Sorry, asleep at the wheel. End of September table:

(1) Radley: 3 pts
(2=) AColi, Hoglette, JPM, Old Ab: 2 pts
(5=) Boogie, Hog: 1 pt.
(8=) Geoff, Mooro, Sideshow: playing good football, it's a marathon not a sprint, true to their principles.

All corrections gratefully ignored.

After York, Radley I think confirmed as winner and next Bootmeister (unless I can think of a subtle and unusually cruel penalty), still up for grabs on the champions' league places and the grim battle for the third relegation slot.

1. Radley 12
2. JoePoolman 6
3. Old Abingdonian 5.5
4. Geoff 5
5= Hoglette 4
5= Hog 4
7. AColi 3.5
8= Boogie 2
8= Mooro 2
8= Sideshow 2
11= Eric Pollard increasingly absent, the ghost of TomOUFC 0

What does being Bootmeister entail? Setting the first one next season and keeping a league table? If that's it, no problem - if it's more involved I'm finding a dodgy fax machine and incurring a points penalty!

Broadly, just dealing with any disputes, keeping and publishing the table, making sure the Boot gets set and penalising violaters of the 36 hour rule. Not very onerous. Of course, the Bootmeister can make up any rules s/he wants - the Bootmeister is Mother, the Bootmeister is Father.
