Beattie leaves Accrington - by mutual consent

http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/ac ... 76301.html

Is he off to Leeds - surely not worth leaving for the Carlisle job?

Leaves from 46th on the longest serving list, moves Appleton up to 84th

Had it confirmed he won’t be in charge on Saturday for the Derby game but won't be officially sacked tonight, and it would not surprise me if Vincent Tan put himself in as caretaker manager for the Redbirds on Saturday :-) Tony Pulis overwhelming favourite to take over but makes no sense as that would wreck his career.

Quite!

Three out (from 8th, 68th and 72nd on the list respectively)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29253698 - Adams steps down at Vale, Rob Page taking charge for now
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26328068 - Solskjear sacked at Cardiff, caretakers Danny Gabbidon & Scott Young
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29261059 - and Magath at Fulham, Kit Symons stepping up

and One in:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29238830 - John Coleman returns to Accrington

Appleton jumps up to 81st...

Adams departure puts the number who've lasted 3years at just 12 (including Pardew and Slade who have been said to be on the verge in the last few days) and those lasting 2 years at 23, soon to be 24 with Gareth ainsworth due to celebrate two years at WWFC next week.

Usual suspects top the bookies lists for these jobs (hughton, lennon, hartley, sherwood, pulis etc), but interesting to note that Gary Waddock is favourite with BetVictor for the Carlisle job

None at all, then two come along together:

and Appleton 80th

Billy McKinley takes the reigns at Watford as Oscar Garcia steps down through ill health.

No move in the list for Appleton, as OG only arrived at the start of the month.

Not for long mind. Hope to be singing "sacked in the morning" at him this time tomorrow.

I don't think many of us would have answered those questions with either a couple weeks or Gary Waddock!
Indeed,

I wonder whether Appleton will reach the heady heights of 79th on the list before he leaves......?
....indeed he has, as Freedman leaves from #26 on the list...
