Sad and regrettable if true - surely a cut too far.

Could it boost home attendances though?

Living in Leeds - RADIO Oxford is usually the closest I can get to games (especially those at home). I love the commentary. This would be devastating if it were to effect Jerome and co.

Obviously not good news. But not the end - only effecting mid week games.

Assuming that radio shows are to attract listeners and are for the benefit of listeners, which may be a wild assertion in these dark days, this seems bonkers. Surely the BBC sports coverage, and in partic football commentary, must be to the benefit of hundreds of thousands, nay millions of listeners.
