It’s a no-brainer. 89% owned by one person is going to be the case unless the remaining 11% of shareholders and/or other supporters can find the cash to buy the ground from Firoka and make Ian Lenagan’s first financial venture into football the dream he made public at his first fans forum when he said “maybe make some money

Crikey, wait til TiU pick up on that!

No news on why Duberry always wears long sleeves though.
The local Babylon have not charged Us much in recent years when we have asked them (ever so nicely) to keep order in our Stadium and its surrounds so that’s ok as I’m far too old to be a hooli. However, it would be interesting to know which groups of people are classified as “others

But why would anyone want to buy shares in a club when the majority shareholder could with his vote alone override all others? Have you never been to the farce called an Oxford United AGM?

Take your point but think it would be a good thing for an organised supporters to have a minority share in the club. Was something that was investigated quite closely by Oxvox back in the day. At the momentt we have 11% of the club owned by sundry Oxonian diaspora.

Don't think the present committee are that bothered with this at present. I may be wrong of course.

The list* of the other 11% of current shareholders reads like a who’s who of people who used to have some control over the club in the past, including your relatives (unless the surname ‘Rosser’ is a pure coincidence).

* = It goes on for ages. Page after page of familiar names, some of whom died a long time ago.
