Cambridge Weather Report

Post by Ancient Colin »

As I type, it's dropped about 10-12cm of snow on Cambridge and it's still falling. The roads are passable, but slowly, but the local taxi firm isn't taking calls. Will update tomorrow, but I'd strongly advise checking before setting out.

10:30 pitch inspection. It didn't snow much more overnight, but it is still well below freezing (see http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/dtg/weather/ ). Sun's out which may melt a bit off.

100% humidity? Does that mean you're under water?

Don't forget that the saturated water vapour pressure is a function of temperature. You'll get 100% relative humidity at zero celsius with about three or four grammes of water per kilo.
