indeed - contador won't have wanted to get involved in the elbows out, bouncing off the barriers stuff for the sake of a couple of seconds. and i have to say, i'm with him on that. i've never understood the mentality of the sprinters, absolutley nuts, i've always been a fan of the grimpeurs (brill hill is hardly the same though....
a crazy couple of stages for the end of the giro next though - contador will have to watch himself if he wants to make sure the last stage is the traditional procession.

Last stage is contre la montre (um, I suppose cronometro individuale) so it will only be a procession in a very literal sense.
