How do you get minus points? I didn't think that was possible.

It seems the season is coming to an end just in time for Mally. His once insurmountable lead has shrunk to just 10 points. Still, barring disaster, he should survive the next 2 matches.

Wasn't I second last year or the year before? Or am I smoking crack?

Mally's form has coincided with his employment status. When he could take a more leisurely assessment he did better than now he is back in the real world.

Doing the double will be some achievement though......so to celebrate Mally would like to buy all Oxford fans a pre match meal in Lille on Saturday lunchtime.

He thinks this will be cheaper than my suggestion of kebabs all round in Gravesend.

3 problems with that suggestion:

1. I checked the train times and theres no realistic way you can to Lille and back from Ebbsfleet on a Saturday and have time for lunch.

2. I will be sitting in the sun, with a beer in my hand when we kick off on Saturday.

3. The fat lady hasn't even been given her music yet.

And there we go, that just goes to show how much we all really know about Oxford United.

Well done to Mally on achieving a unique RageOnline ‘Double’, and in particular many, many, thanks to Frank for doing this and keeping Us bloggers on our toes all season!

Can I add my note of thanks to Frank for doing a marvellous job all season. Sometimes during this season, the boot and the hat have been the only OUFC related events worth bothering with.

And congratulations to Mally for his win. I imagine he must have predicted a lot of defeats. Note to self, don't let heart rule head in future.

At that point I was one whose interest was waning in the midtable mediocrity of it all. Still roll on next season.
