Newport County unlikely to be troubling the back of the net any time soon after announcing the signing of Deane Smaley on loan.

Former defender perennial injury sufferer Michael Corcoran ordered to carry out 220 hours unpaid work and pay £1,085 in fines and costs following an incident where he racially abused a woman in a kebab shop after drinking a gallon of beer.

Hi solicitor claimed in mitigation that the semi-professional player is paid a “pittance” of £150 per game for Wealdstone FC and is saving money to retrain as an HGV driver.

Lincoln has now signed for Hayes & Yeading having been released by Reading
Apparently Lincoln has just turned down the chance to be the highest paid player at Hayes and Yeading and signed for Basingstoke Town

Wealdstone have now suspended him while they see if there's a way they can wriggle out of his contract and save £150 a week
