Godiva Boot

Post by Boogie »

Six Questions. 1 Point for each correct answer. One joker can be played to score 3 points instead of 1. Entries by 1pm Saturday.

1. Will Oxford win, draw or lose?
2. Will Mackie Score? Y/N
3. Will Sinclair Score? Y/N
4. Will Henry Start? Y/N
5. Will Sykes play either starting or as a sub? Y/N
6. Will 4 or more of the teams from Plymouth down (positions 12 to 24) win? Y/N

TB1. After the events on Saturday I would like you to name something unusual that happens during the match (including extra time...).

I have discretion to rule that something correctly predicted is not unusual!

TB2. Full time score (no repeats)

Presumably you'll keep an eye on this and advise accordingly as people post? Q1 itself could be the UE (note the Hat reference!) if we go for Oxford Away win!

1. Draw
2. No
3. No - Joker
4. Yes
5. Yes
6. Yes

TB1. A playing sub is subbed (I was going to write pages about things Mackie won't do but I'll give him a break for that goal)
TB2. 0-0

1. Lose (but subject to the UE and it is clear that there is no majority for any result)
2. No - J
3. No
4. Yes
5. No
6. Yes

TB1. After angry disputes in the dressing room about whether the tea should be Tetleys, Yorkshire (or no tea at all), Gobbo discusses the issue with the referee and comes back with a proposal that the tea should be a weak mix of Tetleys and Yorkshire. The dressing room refuses to accept this. Gobbo returns to the referees and comes back with a proposal that the tea should be a weak mix of Tetleys and Yorkshire but with a promise that the tea might be stronger, or possibly weaker, in the future. The dressing room clearly refuses (although some, dehydrating, do accept). Gobbo returns to the referees who agree to delay the restart by ten minutes, provided that the dressing room accepts weak Tetleys and Yorkshire but if they do not, then the start will be delayed by five minutes while Gobbo clarifies exactly what drink is proposed (given that only weak Tetleys and Yorkshire is on offer). As a result, TB2 cannot be activated, since the result is not yet in.

TB2. 2-1

Godiva scoreboard for you:-

Geoff = 3
Hog = 4
Boogie,A Coli, Hoglette and Old Ab = 5

The winner is Radley Rambler on 6.

No need for the UE - did I hear on the radio that a pigeon interfered with one of the goalkeepers?
