PS I also have an A grade GSCE in Latin. And I'd be rubbish at managing OUFC!

Ditto. Only because A*s hadn't been invented (he said modestly).

The Big Six - Eales not ruling out an internal candidate:

Pah - I've got A Level Latin and a degree in Classics - should I be managing Barcelona?Old Abingdonian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 5:06 pm Ditto. Only because A*s hadn't been invented (he said modestly).

No, most definitely NOT.
Olympiacos or Roma would be suitable though....
Re: The Runners and Riders...
I don't have an 'O' level in Latin but I would still carpe diem if the chance came along.
Re: The Runners and Riders...
So the other three on the shortlist are as follows?
Dougie Freedman?
Alun Stubbs?
Internal candidate - Chris Allen?
Or has anyone got other ideas.

Re: The Runners and Riders...
I suspect Faz rather than Chrissy Allen. My best guess would be:
Lampard
Floyd Hasselbaink
Pep Clotet
Faz
McLaren
Tisdale (hoping)
Re: The Runners and Riders...
I've got an O-level in Maths, a GCSE in Additional Maths, an A-level in Maths, an A-level in Further Maths and a degree in Maths.
Those don't even qualify me to be a mathematician, so I doubt they'd help me run a football team. Except maybe...
...(wait for it)...

Arsene Wenger has a degree in Economics. I have a BA, MSc and PhD in Economics, so maybe I could manage Barca?Radley Rambler wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2017 1:12 pmPah - I've got A Level Latin and a degree in Classics - should I be managing Barcelona?Old Abingdonian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 5:06 pm Ditto. Someone has already updated Wikipedia...
"Josep 'Pep' Clotet Ruiz (born 28 April 1977) is a Spanish football coach, currently First Team Coach of English club Oxford United. In his first media interview he simply said "7 in a row"."

Re: The Runners and Riders...
Odds on Pep Clotet shortened and then all betting suspended?
Re: The Runners and Riders...
