Fixtures

Post by GodalmingYellow »

Last year the fixture computer was relatively kind to us.

This year it hates us.

Opening day away, last day away, Boxing Day away. Only slight compensation is New Year at home.

Nah, we don't appear to have a (legitimate) fixture on New Year's Day...

Agree that it's an underwhelming list - the timings of the games meant that very few stuck out as "unmissable" games or ones where we can expect a bumper turnout.

With no s*****n to look out for the fixture list was always going to be somewhat underwhelming. Glad we're away first game of the season as I am working. Thankfully the first home game of the season does not clash with any gigs.

Rotherham away on a Tuesday night is a bit of a ball ache, but could be worse. Most decent games we do have are on Saturdays, so that's a positive.

I like to go to the first and last games - pleased it's two grounds I still have to tick off. Otherwise indeed nothing to shout about, but then again I'm feeling pretty underwhelmed about the prospect of the coming season now anyway.
