And this is before general sale - very impressive and for the first time we're going to be outnumbered at Wembley!

Soaring to 31,000 tickets sold and not on general sale until next Monday!

They will sell out of their initial allocation of 39,300
and will get more tickets most likely.

All the more reason for us to not boycott. There's no point one club boycotting, and the other selling tickets by the lorryload.

It's a strange situation where the fans of one club get a 3/4 week start on the other. Will be interesting to see how many are sold by the end of Friday at Oxford when they go on open sale...

Bit of a nightmare to get through this morning and buying tickets on the internet on the phone was nearly impossible but treating ourselves to club Wembley this time, really looking forward to it.

Always though it would be nice seeing a sea of fans opposite us after the big empty spaces against York and Barnsley.

Apparently 18,000 have been sold so far, I believe we hit 21,000 thousand on the first day of general sale last year so we're actually on course to smash that. So (fingers crossed) we may end up with a bigger crowd than last year. Certainly in my group there are those who didn't come last time, heard what a good day it was and are now coming and I wonder if people like that are going to make up for those with Wembley fatigue and the boycotters.

I actually don't believe many who came last year would not want to come again simply because it was such a good day out, the sun was out and was a good game - if anything it would make you even more keen to go again.

I also wonder whether the boycotters will be in the tens or hundreds - most seem to have accepted the clubs vote to not allow B teams again to be good enough to attend and I would have expected some of the boycotters to be season ticket holders. The fact is we're not looking to even beat last years first day of general sale suggests not many have followed through with the boycott.

What I am surprised about is that we've not sold Pboro out - massive game, not played there for a while and less than 1,500 tickets allocated.

Delighted with the number of Wembley tickets sold - around 19,000 it seems.

It's been a busy day with U's fans snapping up a high number on the first day of
general sales.

Although Coventry tickets have yet to go on general sale, anyone that has (or is mates with someone that has) attended even a single home game of theirs this season has already had the opportunity to buy theirs. So I'd be surprised if their remaining allocation are snapped up as quickly as some are expecting.

Pleasantly surprised by our sales - I thought there'd be a fair bit of Wembley fatigue from our recent visits, especially given the ever-increasing tin-pottedness of the Trophy. And I don't expect us to sell all that many more, with only three weeks to the game. But it will be good to see a decent crowd in again...
