Chris Carruthers has been given the heave-ho by Kettering as his appearances have been limited by injury and unavailability due to changing family and work commitments.

Anthony Griffith (remember him?) has come out of retirement to sign for Glossop North End!

"The Hillmen have tempted Anthony Griffith out of retirement and have signed youngster Sam Illesanmi on a further loan from Vanarama National League side Tranmere Rovers.

Griffith, 29, is a Montserrat international footballer who started out at Halifax Town.

He turned professional with Doncaster Rovers in 2005 and was loaned out to Oxford United in March 2006, though did not make it onto the pitch. "

And what about left Adam Griffin? He's just signed for Ashton United after his release from Altrincham.

Adam Chapman has left Mansfield by mutual consent. A return to Newport County is rumoured after he watched their game at Doncaster on Saturday with the away fans.

Presumably Chapman would have to wait until the transfer window
reopens in January before he can sign for a league club?

If he has left Mansfield, doesn't that make him a free agent? And therefore signing for another club would not be a 'transfer'? Thanks FIFA, for making things so complicated.
