Lion-sized shoes

Predictions as they were meant to be. Or not. Whatever.

Lion-sized shoes

Post by Old Abingdonian »

So, a return to habitual pessimism works!

Go for a cascade, I think.

1. How many starters on Tuesday will have been registered on Monday (not including Maguire, if indeed he signs and starts)?
2. How many starters will be changes from the starting line-up on Saturday?
3. How many players will be in Tuesday's squad (of 16) who were not in Saturday's squad?
4. Will Roofe / Sercombe / Hylton score?*
5. Will anyone else score for us?*

*ogs for either side do not count.

That was clever - forgot to enter myself!

Answers:
1. None
2. Three (Hylton, Büchel and Kenny)
3. One (Ismail)
4. No.
5. No.

so, Hog and Hoglette win through Qus 1 and 2, and fail Qu 3, so on Qu 4 Hog is the winner.

So much for criticising the cascade model....

   The thing with a cascade is a person who only gets say two out of seven right can beat someone who gets six! I suppose that's a giant killing!

And I never know when the TB kicks in - this time you have moved the last two standing from Q2 to Q4 as we both got Q3 wrong but shouldn't we have gone straight to TB?
