And so we return to a full house as :

McLaren takes on the poisoned chalice - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32994477

while former Ross County boss, Derek Adams heads about as far away as he can from his previous club to take the reigns at Plymouth http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32994477

Appleton sits at 43rd on the list, which now includes Darrell Clarke and Martin Allen in 38th & 39th places on their return to the league with Brizzle and Barnet.

Just 40 out of the 92 clubs have a manager who has been there for a year - MAPP will make it 42 in 23 days (Koeman in 5)

Appleton will celebrate a year in charge this coming Saturday and tonight has moved up to 41st on the long-serving list, as the former 8th placed manager leaves Leicester: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33338638

Early favourites to replace him are Neil lennon, Sean Dyche, Big Sam MArtin O'Neill -

MEanwhile Carlos Carvahal is odds on to fill the other current vacancy (at Sheff Weds), from John Sheridan & Sam Allardyce. Pearson joins Jokanivic, Lambert, Clough and Lee Clark as the other main names mentioned.

Not quite two months, but a decent spell of the full 92 comes to an end with Peterborough calling time on Dave Robertson's brief spell at the helm after just 1 win in 6...

...and, like buses, you wait ages for one, then another one comes along right behind:

Paul Dickov leaves from 24th on the list, moving MAPP up to 40th

Westley appointed at Peterborough. Fatty Evans must be disappointed, probably Rotherham wanted too big a pay-off.

And I'm sure the whole of football is in mourning as Rotherham part company with Steve Evans and Paul Raynor.

Eric Black in temporary charge at the Millers.

Confirming what virtually everybody thought about Mark Warburton's 'sacking' last season. Disgraceful.

And just as results were starting to pick up for The Millers, too. My heart bleeds!

Two in a day - not bad -
Baldini has left his role as Chief Interferer at Spurs as well....

Appleton now 39th on the long serving list, and moving into the top ten is Gareth Ainsworth, who celebrated 3yrs at WWFC on Thursday - not bad for a stopgap!
