Someone needs to tell those egg chasers about our Gypsy curse.

And also anyone thinking about buying a house on what is now the Minchery Farm pitch when both sides of Grenoble Road get concreted over as it’s clearly not just football orientated. Especially in Number 13.

Coincidentally, that's 13 slaughters on the spin, and you can't stop is as it's not a boxing match - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/30695538

I'm losing count. Is this 23 or 24 losses on the spin?

No reason for that Deer Park rugby team to be miserable at all tonight, because only losing by 15 points to Bath at home is the best result of their season.

Now can they go home please?

Cheerio, cheerio, cheerio...

For a top-flight, professional team in a major sport, that really is an incredibly poor season. How do they recover from that?

Over 1000 points conceded. That's nearly twice as bad as the next worse record. I hear there are plans afoot to try and join the Pro 12 because it's easier.

I reckon Zebre and Treviso would vote for that...

Oh please God no, that would mean them following me around and playing their rubbish at The Liberty against the Ospreys.

BBC Oxford report that London Welsh are considering leaving the Kasstad.

And it seems that their supporters are taking the idea seriously too.

I think it's just a way of reducing their rent for next season, as they did last time they got relegated when they put together a smokescreen plan to move to Witney which never had legs.

I'm still hearing that they plan to be here next season... Although I wouldn't rule out a conversation with WWFC, either as a lever to get a reduction or a genuine plan to move a bit nearer to London and fill the void left by Wasps.

Whoever signed the Wugby contract with Uncle Firoz was as legally stupid as WPL were, of that there is no doubt.

Just what is the point of staying at the Kassam with most probably less than 1000 fans turning up each game next season, other than ‘contractual obligations’? If Oxford City had not got their artificial pitch delayed and LW had an opt out option with Firoka then CPF would have suited them next season in many ways.

I've no idea why Oxford fans (and also Deer Park supporters, but in a different way) are not making a bigger fuss about this at a time when someone with OUFC at heart is forking out a lot of cash towards repairing the pitch so that decent football can be played on it.

Just as an interesting aside, another rugby club is looking to the south east for support...http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/33082687

...I wonder whether coming to Minchery farm (even as a one off) was ever on the agenda while Mr L was here?
