Does he actually play in this team? He was certainly wearing full kit on match night. Big turnout from the locals...

I wonder how much any of the players paid for trials? or whether they are promised a trial at Oxford City (UK), again at a cost.

I would also question his claim (among many of the claims I would question) that is he 6ft. If he is the local kids should form a basketball team.

Anyone who watches the Escape to Victory war documentary would know that American keepers actually improve with diminishing stature.

Bugger, no game at CPF pre-season due to “an objection that there may be more traffic”.

Going Concern

At March 31, 2015, we had deficit accumulated of $17,468,089 and as noted throughout this report and our financial statements and notes thereto, our independent auditors have expressed their substantial doubt as to our ability to continue as a going concern as of June 30, 2014. We anticipate incurring significant losses in the future. We do not have an established source of revenue sufficient to cover our operating costs. Our ability to continue as a going concern is dependent upon our ability to successfully compete, operate profitably and/or raise additional capital through other means. If we are unable to reverse our losses, we will have to discontinue operations.

The financial statements included in this quarterly report have been prepared assuming that we will continue as a going concern, which contemplates the recoverability of assets and the satisfaction of liabilities in the normal course of business.

Management's plans include the raising of capital through the equity markets to fund future operations, seeking additional acquisitions, and generating of revenue through our business. However, even if we do raise sufficient capital to support our operating expenses and generate adequate revenues, there can be no assurances that the revenue will be sufficient to enable us to develop business to a level where we will generate profits and positive cash flows from operations. These matters raise substantial doubt about our ability to continue as a going concern. These financial statements do not include any adjustments relating to the recoverability and classification of recorded asset amounts, or amounts and classification of liabilities that might result from this uncertainty.

Has anyone at Oxford City who agreed to this deal ever come out in public and said why, what the hell is going on, or what they hoped to gain from it? And where is the City Council (as land owners) in all this, other than being equally silent?

I know TAG tried it on with Kelvin before City, but that conversation didn’t last more than an hour before the bullshit alarm was flashing red in our Chairman’s head.

Snake says it all.

Heartbreaking stuff……how has it been allowed to happen? - City (the real one) must surely lay their cards on the table…..that is the least their supporters deserve.

Considering how much TAG is paying himself out of this business, this is not a surprise.

Oxford City really do need to clarify who gets what from their operations as TAG is claiming in these accounts that OCFC Inc get the revenues from everything the club does which, IIRC, isn't how it was first presented.

It seems the fear of being sued has led to the decline of investigative journalism by local newspapers or even online bloggers. The Mail it seems will only post news once something has gone through the courts.

I'm not sure what happened to TAG's proposed Oxford City indoor soccer teams in Sioux Falls and South Florida - I can't find any reference to them one year on from the Oxford Mail article heralding their arrival. He did acquire an MASL team in Texas last July, but according to Wiki agreed terms to sell it again 6 months later. They actually did ok last season despite TAG posing as goalkeeper for their first game.

Now he's (apparently) bought a stake in a Mexican team too, although that also seems set to compete in the MASL, and indeed was only created in October.

Are these the continuing early steps towards a genuine worldwide football empire? Or insignificant deck-shuffling in order to continue to give an appearance of having a pot to piss in? Either way the foreign connections don't seem to be doing (the real) City much harm on the pitch - they've just had one of their best ever seasons. But why the Mail aren't interested in the apocalyptic accounts of OCFC Inc remains a mystery - if OUFC posted figures like them the local press would be all over it like a rash.
