Re: Where are they now?
Just read that Plymouth Argyle have signed Dean Smalley on a two year deal! Am I the only one that is utterly astonished that ANY league side have taken him on? I was certain he was heading to one of the three Football Conference divisions....at best. I'm assuming that he is going to be as cheap as chips....

Re: Where are they now?
I agree, Roo.
But if there are any other certainties in life other than death and taxes, one will be that Smalley will score against us next season.

Their manager is John Sheridan, under whose management Smalley did really well at Chesterfield.Roo wrote:Just read that Plymouth Argyle have signed Dean Smalley on a two year deal! Re: Where are they now?
None currently managing I think - the best you'll do is Jim Barron's spell at Cheltenham.Mooro wrote:Subs could include those that have managed at these levels recently but are currently 'otherwise engaged' so: Saunders, Foyle, Magilton, Simpson, Penney
BUT however far I went I could not find a former Oxford keeper currently managing anywhere - who have I missed???
I have a sneaking suspicion Elvis might end up on the touchline at some point though - he'll never be able to retire from shouting at people!
Re: Where are they now?
Matty Taylor (the Forest Green Rovers version) scored twice in an England C friendly against a Sparta Prague B side in the Czech Republic.

The International Challenge Trophy started on Saturday with a match against Slovakia. It looks like Matty made a late sub appearance in the 1-0 defeat.
