League 2 play off final is 28/5/11 at Old Trafford. Semi-final dates will not be known until the teams are known and TV has decided
On the same day (28/5/11) the European Champions final is being played at Wembley.

Is there not a 'window' within which each semi-final leg will be played?"Dartford Ox" wrote:http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/K ... 19,00.html

Re:
With the season ending on the 7th May and the final being 28th May you would imagine that the semi final will be played with the first leg being back end of w/c 9th or Sat 14th and the 2nd leg being back end of wc 16th or Sat 21st. I think you might be unlucky!"Swissbloke" wrote:I have a trip booked 18th May to 25th May. I hope this is not the window for any semis......

Is it me, or is this a major f'k up by the FA / Football League? Why spend millions and millions building a national stadium only for it not to be used for clubs in the Home Nation?
I see that if Luton make the play off final, they don't get to Wembley either. Personally, I think this is a disgrace.
Let's wait til next year
"The decision to stage the npower League 1 and npower League 2 Play-Off Finals in Manchester follows a mutually agreed settlement between The Football League and the Football Association that enables Wembley Stadium to stage the UEFA Champions League Final on the evening of May 28 and the npower Championship Play-Off Final two days later."
Will the clubs in L1 & L2 receive any of this "settlement"...? I doubt it.
