UE half time dressing room team talk speaks of clouds of Wordsworthian beauty, with the team reminded of the importance of the conditional tense.

Guess you won't need to if he's on the bench (nil points). If he isn't, well let's leap into that particular canyon when we get there.

&quotHog&quot wrote:Already wasted several hours of the sunniest day this summer and to be frank (no, not you Frank) I'm pretty much passed caring now! I've never had trouble with Freeview boxes before this Setanta one but apparently my arial signal is too weak and it needs tweaking. I don't have a ladder. I might just buy a booster one tomorrow if Argos are open but if that doesn't work it's all going back. After all, I've managed with the radio for games i couldn't make up 'til now so .... that's what Mrs Hog thinks of the whole palava anyway!
I had no signal on freeview although it somehow knew what all the programmes were going to be that I couldn't watch.

Some rewiring and all works (though sometimes pixellated). As VCR's often have a signal booster, plug tv aerial into VCR. Then take the output of the VCR as the input to the freeview box. Then output from the Freeview box to the tv.

So do I get half a point for it actually being a possibility last night?

Bet his first touch would have let him down again though.

I'm tempted to reply using the words hard, tackle, dribble and box but thankfully have resisted the temptation.
