As it's a 5 mile trek from Wellingborough station to Nene Park is there anyone else travelling from London? or indeed anywhere else by train, if so do you want to meet up and share a cab to the ground?

If you're going by train from London to Wellingborough don't buy a direct ticket.
St. Pancras (STP) to Wellingborough (WEL) is £45.50 Economy or £65.00 First Class but a ticket from St. Pancras (STP) to Bedford (BDM) and another from Bedford (BDM) to Wellingborough (WEL) works out at £25.50 Economy or £40.80 First Class.
There are only three stops Luton (LUT) Bedford (BDM) and Wellingborough (WEL), I've permed all three and STP to BDM and then BDM to WEL is the cheapest.
I didn't bother working out return fares because I'm getting a lift back to Oxford with my brother.
