Local derby (or not really) loafers

Post by Radley Rambler »

You've got £10 to spend at the Boot bookies and need to bet it on one or more of the following selections. You can split the £10 as you see fit or put it all on one item. The person who has the most money at the end is the winner. Good luck.

Wycombe to win - 13/10

Draw - 12/5

Oxford to win - 2/1

1-0 Wycombe - 15/2
2-0 Wycombe - 11/1
2-1 Wycombe - 17/2
3-0 Wycombe - 22/1
3-1 Wycombe - 18/1
3-2 Wycombe - 28/1

1-0 Oxford - 9/1
2-0 Oxford - 14/1
2-1 Oxford - 10/1
3-0 Oxford - 40/1
3-1 Oxford - 25/1
3-2 Oxford - 33/1

0-0 - 10/1
1-1 - 11/2
2-2 - 12/1
3-3 - 50/1

1st goalscorer:

Akinfenwa - 11/2
Mackail-Smith - 11/2
Kashket - 6/1
Samuel - 13/2
Onyedinma - 13/2
Williams - 13/2
Cowan-Hall - 7/1
Jacobson - 12/1
Morris - 14/1

Obika - 6/1
Smith - 6/1
Whyte - 7/1
Mackie - 15/2
Henry - 11/1
Browne - 11/1
Holmes - 11/1
Baptiste - 14/1
Mousinho - 18/1
Nelson - 33/1

Wycombe to keep a clean sheet - 2/1
Oxford to keep a clean sheet - 11/4

Other odds are available upon request if that request is not ridiculous and I can be bothered to respond

Tiebreaker - Number of corners in the match - in the event of a tie, earliest prediction wins.

There's nothing to say that they have to be compatible...

I know - my comment was very tongue in cheek. I was at Spurs once with a Ladbrokes Director when a punter put a similar set of bets on but at greatly increased value - he rubbed his hands saying 'they can't both win'.

Collectively we had a score draw with the bookies - £70 bet and £70 returned.

Hoglette got £15 and Old Abingdonian £55 so he wins this week.

For the rest of us - 'When the fun stops, stop!'
