Shoo-in 4 Boot?

Post by Hog »

1pt for each correct answer

1. Will United avoid a fourth successive home defeat? (and explain your working if you think they will)
2. Will Dunkley start?
3. Will Whing start?
4. Will United keep a clean sheet?
5. Will United score first?
6. Will Campbell get any game time?
7. Will Danny Rose be in the squad?
8. Will either side ever have a clear two goal lead?
9. Assuming they've got a sponsor for the game who will they nominate as United's Man of the Match? (10 points if you correctly say Alfie Potter)
TB. Reported attendance (if still a tie (!) earlier post wins).

1. Yes (I blame the Davos lizards for this sudden outbreak of positivity)
2. Yes
3. Yes (stubbornness abounds part 77)
4. No, of course not
5. No
6. No (but Thompson might)
7. I can't remember what question this is, and my phone won't scroll down. If it's "is Rose in the squad", um, yes, although I think the praise for him elsewhere is about as accurate as his passing.
8. No, but it'll feel like that
9. Danny "I was on target for a thirty goal season but look at me now" Hylton
TB. 4848

So what's the scoring system here?

Well, sod's law, no announcement for MOTM and nothing at the end of the report on the official site even though it was quite obviously Hylton again as demonstrated by the vote so far on the OM website.

If I award a point for Hylton as MOTM then the scores were:

3pts: Joepoolman, Mooro
4pts: Hoglette
6pts: Old Abingdonian, Radley Rambler, Hog, Ancient Colin and Sideshow Rob for a five person tie.

If we discount the point for Hylton then Sideshow Rob is the only person still on 6. Luckily for me he would have won it on the tie break anyway as he was nearest to the freebie-inflated attendance - are we season ticket holders the only people who have paid to get in these days?

Over to you Sideshow!

Seen Steve Daniels's photo on FB and Danny Hylton did indeed get MOTM.
